Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP BTP ABAP Developer to join their project immediately and will run for 12 months with possibility for extension. The position is fully remote, allowing candidates to be based anywhere in Canada. Candidates must be able accommodate working in multiple time zones.
Expertise in SAP BTP workflows, integrations, event mesh, build process automation, and working knowledge of dev ops.
10 years experience may not be required if the candidate is strong.
Ability to build technical solutions with SAP Cloud solutions like BTP, Business Process Automation, Event Mesh, and Integration Suite.
Implementation know how with SAP SaaS products like Cell & Gene Therapy Orchestration is an asset.
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services and technologies, especially SaaS solutions.
Exposure to MicroServices, AWS, API Led Architecture, and Event-Driven Architecture is a plus.
Working knowledge on DevOps Utilities (like Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes).
Previous exposure to the GxP Pharma environment.
Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
ITSM knowledge (like ServiceNow).
Experience with Release Management processes and controls especially in GxP/Validated application.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to work effectively in global initiatives across multiple time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least 10 years of experience.
