SAP IT Project Manager (Infrastructure & Architecture) in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic SAP IT Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering complex IT infrastructure and architecture projects, particularly within SAP ecosystems. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives related to SAP S/4HANA, data governance, enterprise integration, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee multi-phase, global projects, delivering exceptional business outcomes through effective project leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

· Manage highly complex, multi-phase projects across all areas of the global organization

· Assist in the development of business cases

· Identify project stakeholders and their project roles

· Collaborate with project sponsors and process owners to establish KPIs and success metrics

· Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure vulnerability management and remediation are embedded into project plans.

· Create and own project charters, project plans, operational hand-off plans, and closure reports

· Accountable for change management, training and testing plans

· Create and maintain effective communication plans to ensure frequent, accurate, and timely stakeholder updates

· Responsible for regular updates to Executives, Leadership committees and project stakeholders through status reporting and project reviews

· Deliver assigned projects on time and on budget

· Take strong ownership of the business outcomes that result from project execution

Skills and Requirements

· SAP Infrastructure & Architecture: In-depth experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, system integrations, and architecture best practices.

· Data Governance & Compliance: Strong background in implementing frameworks for data quality, security, and regulatory adherence.

· IT Project Delivery: Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale, multi-year projects within established constraints.

· Change Management: Expertise in managing organizational change, training, and adoption of IT solutions.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Proven skills in executive communication, negotiation, and collaboration with technical and business teams.

· Strategic & Tactical Thinking: Strong business acumen with the ability to balance long-term vision and immediate execution.

· Strong understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, with a focus on ensuring compliance across global SAP projects.

· Understanding of adopting future-ready security practices, including Zero Trust Architecture and secure cloud solutions, to safeguard critical IT infrastructure.

· Familiarity with security tools such as SIEMs, endpoint protection platforms, and vulnerability management solutions.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working across diverse industries such as supply chain, consumer products, and manufacturing.

· Skills include strong business acumen, future-thinking, strategic, tactical, accountable, collaborative, and proactive

· Extensive experience understanding and managing complex and/or multi-year projects

· Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager

· PMP Certification is a must

· Excellent oral, written and communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills

· SAP experience, S4/Hana preferred

· University Computer Science or Business Commerce degree or equivalent experience

· Experience in supply chain for consumer products, fashion or manufacturing industry preferred

· BA experience is a plus null
