Our Toronto/Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP SCM Data Migration Analyst contractor immediately for a 12 month contract. This will be a hybrid work setting, with occasional on-site work required.

  • The Data Conversion Analyst should have good SAP Materials Management (MM) experience and have a strong background in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP MM module to align with business needs, as well as ensuring seamless data conversion and integration processes.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of Material Management in SAP, logistics operations, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and tool management systems like PTC Windchill.
  • SAP MM ABAP knowledge and technical expert on challenging IT projects and includes Materials Management (MM).
  • Solid understanding of integration between the various SAP modules: MM, SD, FI/CO, WM
  • Responsible for analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP MM module to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand procurement and materials processes, implementing system enhancements, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
  • Coordinate the testing of master data with peers and internal customers to ensure business requirements are achieved.
  • Maintain the Material BOM & Recipe release process to meet manufacturing requirements and to maintain compliant, efficient, and reliable batch records and supporting data.
  • Provide direct internal customer support to manufacturing, site planning, inventory control, quality assurance, quality control, global master data management, and IT.
  • Maintain an understanding of the manufacturing processes and SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Provide periodic on-call support to internal customers for emergent system issues.
  • Troubleshoot routine and complex problems to support internal customers.
  • Collaborate with site management and IT to develop business requirements for business process improvements within global information systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite collaborative tools (SharePoint), ticketing and case management tools (Atlassian JIRA™, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy, a sense of responsibility, ownership, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong spoken and written communication skills (French and English).
