Our Toronto/Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP SCM Data Migration Analyst contractor immediately for a 12 month contract. This will be a hybrid work setting, with occasional on-site work required.
The Data Conversion Analyst should have good SAP Materials Management (MM) experience and have a strong background in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP MM module to align with business needs, as well as ensuring seamless data conversion and integration processes.
This role requires a deep understanding of Material Management in SAP, logistics operations, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and tool management systems like PTC Windchill.
SAP MM ABAP knowledge and technical expert on challenging IT projects and includes Materials Management (MM).
Solid understanding of integration between the various SAP modules: MM, SD, FI/CO, WM
Responsible for analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP MM module to meet customer requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand procurement and materials processes, implementing system enhancements, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
Coordinate the testing of master data with peers and internal customers to ensure business requirements are achieved.
Maintain the Material BOM & Recipe release process to meet manufacturing requirements and to maintain compliant, efficient, and reliable batch records and supporting data.
Provide direct internal customer support to manufacturing, site planning, inventory control, quality assurance, quality control, global master data management, and IT.
Maintain an understanding of the manufacturing processes and SAP S/4 HANA.
Provide periodic on-call support to internal customers for emergent system issues.
Troubleshoot routine and complex problems to support internal customers.
Collaborate with site management and IT to develop business requirements for business process improvements within global information systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite collaborative tools (SharePoint), ticketing and case management tools (Atlassian JIRA™, or equivalent).
Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy, a sense of responsibility, ownership, and intellectual curiosity.
Provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel.
Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong spoken and written communication skills (French and English).
Bachelor’s degree in information science, data management or project management.
Technical disciplines with responsibility for design and development of computer software applications and/or database systems.
Experience in project management or technical coordination, product architecture, production engineering, or continuous improvement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and/or French.
Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and in a cross-functional environment and communicate with people at various levels within the organization.
