Senior Automation Consultant in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a a senior resource that can set and lead Test Automation strategy within Digital Technology at one of the leading banks. This will be an individual contributor role but experience leading teams is important. Whilst they will be reporting into the QA department they must have hands-on Development experience with modern web-based application and should bring a Quality Engineering mindset to the team.

Skills and Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience ( coming from a development background with a passion for automation testing or has started as a QA and transitioned into a development role)

Technical expertise should broadly cover the following:

• HTML5/CSS, REST, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (Vue/Ember/Angular/Node/etc)

-Selenium, Appium, Cypress TestNG, Robot Framework, Python, Jest, Cucumber

Jira, Confluence, GitHub

• good understanding of coding frameworks

• lead experience/ leadership experience

-development experience with a modern web-based application – experience as a financial institution null
