Conduct thorough analyses of business processes and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements documents, use cases, and functional specifications.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit feedback and validate requirements with stakeholders.
Assist in the design and implementation of solutions while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of objectives.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and scripts, as well as coordinating testing efforts.
Provide training and support to business users on new systems and processes.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the IT industry.
Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Desired Experience
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT consulting or technology-focused environment.
Experience with business intelligence tools and data analysis.
Prior experience in a client-facing role with an understanding of customer relationship management.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
Experience working with the Government would be a bonus
