Job Description
Reporting into the Manager – TDDI Education Delivery, the Senior Client Education Instructor will be the face of TD Direct Investing’s Client Education Program and delivery of high-profile educational events.
Accountabilities include hosting live and pre-recorded videos, facilitating live events, featuring in social content and other activities geared toward enhancing the content available on the Learning Center and DI’s Social network.
Additionally, the instructor will be responsible for but not limited to the following accountabilities:

The candidate will be primarily responsible for delivering Master Classes on a combination of advanced investment topics such as Technical Analysis, Fundamentals Analysis, Options, and Active Trading Strategies.

Host/Facilitate Inside Investing Webinar and other large-scale educational events.

Feature/host the education segment for the Moneytalk Show and other future live show developments.

Identify and collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to plan and deliver on live event roadmap

Develop Subject Matter Expertise in a specific investment stream and own the growth of that content with a client centric focus and support related ideation and content review of future planned social posts and video courses.

Plan and participate in live video shoots, in-person educational events and internal DI colleague engagements.

Candidate may also be involved with hosting internal business video with senior leaders.

Delivering Private classes to High Value Clients on more advanced topics as well as various TD Lines of Business

Candidate will be responsible for reviewing exit survey feedback and attendance trends to gauge the success of their events.

Provide mentorship to team of instructors on content delivery best practices and conduct

Stay up-to date with ongoing changes to TD’s products, policies and services
-
Promoting educational offerings through a variety of business distribution channels (retail, phone and digital) to create greater awareness of content offerings.

Comply with regulatory and legal guidelines while ensuring consistent adherence to TD brand standards

Content development of investing classes including creating powerpoint presentations, transcribing and other supporting functions when needed.

Being a champion for the Client Education program internally across business lines (PC, BD and Retail)
Job Requirements

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential).
-
Must be comfortable presenting in front of large groups and business leaders. Specifically, presenters should be a great conversationalist that commands a clear, confident voice and can easily read an audience.

Candidate must be a thought leader and takes initiative to positively impact and influence the success of the program and business.
-
Candidate must have deep knowledge in at least one or more of the following areas: fundamental analysis, technical analysis, options trading, active investing strategies, and fixed income products.

Strong familiarity with TD Direct Investing products and services, such as WebBroker, TD Easy Trade, Advanced Dashboard and Active Trader is strongly desired.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be highly resourceful, proactive problem solver who works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Can work effectively in individual and team settings

Should be passionate about personal branding and career development.

Must be comfortable with technology and quick study on new adoptions.

Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Powerpoint, Word and Excel

Experience constructing and delivering training programs is an asset.

Candidate must be fluent in English. Strong command of French is an added benefit.

Completion of CSC, CPH, 30-day IR Training program, and Derivative Fundamentals & Options Licensing Course (DFOL) are recommended but not required
