CONTRACT position: Senior Data Engineer
HYBRID work: 3 days remotely and 2 days from the office
LOCATION: Montreal
DURATION: 4 months ( possibility of this project extension )As a member of the global technology team develop state-of-the-art data science solutions for large multinational enterpriseREQUIRED:

• Masters in software engineering, computer science
• AWS certification
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering project delivery, using agile methodologies and/or rapid prototyping
• Strong development skills in Python and SQL
• Linux workstation and administration capabilities, including comfort working at the command line or over SSH, AWS Session Manager
• Demonstrable experience with a range of data storage technologies, data modeling and ETL tools, and API integrations
• Solution design & architecture of ML solutions aiming at scalability, performance, fault tolerance, and speed
• Familiarity with such libraries and frameworks as Pandas, Numpy, Sci-kit Learn, TensorFlow
• Containerized application development and deployment – Docker, Dockerfiles, Registry Management
• Implementing best practices for taking research PoC to production – Automate testing, CI/CD DevOps processes, unit testing/code coverage, monitoring dashboards, code review, and deployment of data pipelines using AWS services and Python
• Demonstrable experience working on GenAI solutions – an asset
• English only is acceptable, French bilingual preferred
