This role involves managing mission-critical Oracle databases (10g-19c), supporting cloud migrations, enforcing database security, and ensuring technical documentation is consistently maintained.   • Maintain, monitor, and optimize Oracle 10g/11g/12c/19c databases in complex multi-tenant setups
  • Perform database optimization, performance tuning, backup and recovery, capacity planning, and security configuration
  • Lead Oracle database upgrade and migration projects, including migration to Oracle 19c and cloud environments
  • Configure and support Oracle systems on Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms
  • Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards, implementing appropriate auditing controls
  • Assist in implementation and management of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, OEM 13c, TDE, and replicated database solutions
  • Document all technical processes and architecture to ensure smooth knowledge transfer
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support both on-premise and GoCloud database environments
  • Participate in impact analysis and planning for patching and upgrades

Qualifications
Must Have:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c environments
  • Proven experience in database migration and cloud transformation initiatives
  • Deep understanding of database security and auditing (privacy and compliance focused)
  • Familiarity with Oracle tools including RAC, OEM, Data Guard, and TDE
  • Experience working in multi-tenant database environments and high-availability systems
  • Expertise in documentation for technical teams and knowledge transfer sessions
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal

Nice to Have:
