Job description

Our Quebec based client is seeking an experienced Senior ERP & MES Project Manager contractor to join their project starting immediately and will run for 6 months. This will be a fully remote work setting except for the some very occasional on-site work during key project milestones.

  • The ideal candidate is a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), a strong background in Supply Chain Management, and the ability to lead projects with SAP FI and MM modules, integrating seamlessly with the new Empower MX supply chain software.
  • Previous experience in aerospace, aviation or aircraft maintenance will be considered an asset.
  • Direct project activities to meet delivery targets set by the Steering Committee, PM define, own and manage the delivery approach, in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Work with the MES and ERP project managers & product owners to ensure delivery of both parties’ deliverables.
  • Track and monitor project activities to highlight potential issues, mitigate impacts and inform the Steering Committee as required.
  • Manage a team of BPE’s (Business Process Experts) and BPO’s (Business Process Owners) to deliver the solutions and scope identified.
  • Facilitate issues resolution with wider stakeholders network, from executives, to business process owners and suppliers.
  • Maintain a tight schedule in line with the Integrator’s delivery schedule and commitments.
  • Manage scope and scope changes during build and delivery.
  • Control project costs in accordance with the PMO’s financial recommendations.
  • Produce deliverables such as executive reports to project steering committees, or project presentations to various customer committees.
  • Create business cases and facilitate the process of the prioritization of requirements (in coordination with the Business Relationship Manager).
  • Manage PMO RAID (Risk, Actions, Issues, Decisions) facilitating/driving issues resolution with wider stakeholders’ network, from executives, to business process owners and supplier.
  • Support cost-benefit analyses and budget planning.
  • Collaborate with business process owners (BPO), business process experts (BPE) and all other technical experts.
