Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings.?They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our client.Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $40 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid/Remote
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PMJob Responsibilities:

• The Financial Analyst will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes.
• Responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
• The Financial Analyst is expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• 5-7 years of financial and/or regulatory reporting experience at a consolidated level
• Experience within large financial institutions – Background in Accounting (reporting end)
• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.
• Stakeholder management
