We have different opportunities to supports various business unit such as the Intact Lab/Information and Technology, Specialty Solutions and Corporate Claims.As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, you will be a strategic leadership and human resources consultant to executives, senior leaders and their teams for one of Canada’s largest and fastest growing financial services companies. Skilled at collaboration, you thrive at working independently while building strong, remote relationships with national HR team members.Adaptable: You have the ability to juggle multiple priorities and change focus at a moment’s notice while keeping a close eye on the detailsA Fast Learner: You thrive in a customer centric, dynamic, ever-evolving, fast-paced environmentWhat you’ll do here:Provide professional strategic coaching and human resources guidance and advice to our business partners, considering market best practices, strategic and organizational context while being aligned with the laws, regulations, and organizational values.Actively participate in executive and management committees of your designated business partners and ensure all decisions and practices align with our business strategies and values.Collaborate and work with business partners on different HR cycle such as employee engagement action plans, succession planning, talent management strategies and development of our top talent and experts.Challenge the status quo by analyzing the facts, asking questions, adding new perspectives, and thinking strategically.Participate in regional or national projects, play a key role in our ongoing transformation and deployment of corporate initiatives and programs.Conduct investigations and assist managers in managing conflicts and other employee relations issues.Lead, develop and facilitate training workshops, round tables and information sessions for managers and/or employees to meet business needs.Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and collaborate with all members of the National HR Team, on various types of strategic HR projects.What you bring to the table:University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resource ManagementMinimum 8-10 years of related experience as a Senior HR Consultant/HR Business Partner in similar and complex work environment (large corporate company non-union environment)CHRP designation is an assetSolid knowledge in all areas of human resources including performance management and employee relations, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, succession planning and talent management.A flexible, agile, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic ever-changing organizational environment, high tolerance for ambiguity with motivation to bring clarity and confidenceProven track record of critical and strategic thinking to solve operational and / or complex problemsExceptional influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills with all levels of managementProven track record of raising leadership awareness, cultivating engagement, and creating alignment across teams and levels within the companyStrong planning and project management skills, rigor, analytical and synthesis skillsBilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country#LI-hybridWhat we offerWorking here means you’ll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
