As the Senior Manager, Fraud Program Management, you are responsible for contributing to the overall success of the Department. Working with and reporting to the Director, Fraud Program Management, you will be responsible for initiating and participating in the development of strategies and recommendations, including related process maps, business benefits and costs, implementation and training strategies and plans
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Gaining agreement to proposed solutions
- Analyzing and documenting current and potential future states with the intent of improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Fraud Management
- Managing and delivering projects and initiatives that focus on enhancing the fraud mitigation capabilities and continuous improvement of Fraud Management
- Act as Product Owner of FSL/PRM and PowerApps to maximize and enhance the value and usage of the products.
- Coordinating and documenting end-to-end process flows, risk assessments and fraud frameworks for identified products, services and processes within the Bank
- Coordinating and developing pilot/proof of concept as required
- Analyzing data to quantify benefits and assess costs (i.e. Cost benefit analysis)
- Developing and contributing to implementation planning activities
- Participating in presentations and meetings with Senior Management
- Provide consultation to Canadian Banking to ensure effective implementation of initiatives
- Preparing and/or reviewing communication material, including presentation decks, training material, News
- Oversee the execution of special projects across the Fraud Management Office
- Establish and maintain strong and trustworthy partnering relationships with internal clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to achieving the goals of the Fraud Management Group
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- University degree with minimum 5 years related experience
- Understanding of business aspects of Fraud Management and interrelated business line partner
- Working knowledge of fraud prevention, detection and reporting technologies
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills to engage and influence stakeholders collaboratively at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in project management, organizational, analytical and creative problem-solving skills and techniques, with a systematic approach to setting priorities and dealing with changing deadlines
- Experience leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong research capabilities to obtain background information and insight for projects that cover wide variety of operational processes which the incumbent may or may not be thoroughly familiar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to write clear and concise internal and external communications, recommendations and conclusions to Senior Management and Executives
- Strong PC skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint software, and any other technology necessary to complete any given task
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence staff and senior management to promote a high level of understanding and acceptance of the project’s, associated risks and proposed changes. The incumbent must be a very strong manager with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in order to build consensus and obtain co-operation from all stakeholders
