In this opportunity as a Senior Manager, Go To Market Risk & Compliance, you will be supporting business stakeholders in decision-making by providing them with timely and relevant information to maximize value and minimize the risk associated with strategy and go-to-market activities.About the RoleIn this opportunity as Senior Manager, Go To Market Risk & Compliance, you will:Play a critical role in support the execution of the GTM Risk Partnering Maturity RoadmapWork closely with members of the broader Risk & Compliance, Go-to-Market & Product teams to further strengthen the Firm’s risk management practices and drive enterprise framework adoptionOversee the integration of the ERM Framework within the business segments you support, facilitating key risk activities by implementing consistent, regular, and repeatable processes (e.g. risk assessments)Support the business in developing reporting and processes as it transforms towards a new strategic vision helping TR make risk informed decisions that minimize risks while maximizing opportunities for growth and successPerform external scanning & consult with industry experts to stay on top of emerging risksSupply risk management training to the 1st line to ensure there is the right level of understanding of risk management theory and applicationProvide independent review & challenge of risk & issues registers, including risk mitigation efforts, to ensure all material risks have been identified and managed according to risk appetite and toleranceSupport and drive execution of risk assessments, key initiatives and/or projects in alignment to Enterprise Risk Management OfficeDevelop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts within and outside the organizationAbout You:You’re a fit for the role of Senior Manager, Go To Market Risk & Compliance if your background includes:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology or related field7+ years of relevant work experience in risk management, consulting and/or advisory. Experience in a similar capacity within the Technology industry or in Technology Sales an asset. Focus on Legal, Tax, and, or Accounting technology an assetExperience in conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management frameworksRelevant professional certification (CPA, CRM or equivalent) preferred but not requiredProven work experience as a team leader or supervisorStrategic thinking: ability to think critically, analyze complex problems and develop strategic plans to mitigate risks and leverage partnerships effectively. Proven track record in strategic risk advisory and partnership development rolesDemonstrate ability to stay abreast of industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly. Willingness to embrace innovation and explore new opportunities in industrySound and practical knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, methodologies, and best practicesProblem solving, analysis, judgment, analytical skills, experience with developing quantitative risk modelsStrong business acumen with the ability to convey complex concepts and ideas in clear and concise manner.
