Salary Range: $160,000-$200,000Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Network Security Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and securing a global financial network infrastructure, providing support for both internal operations and external partners. The primary focus will be on strengthening the security posture of their network while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls using tools like Panorama and FortiManager, ensuring efficient integration and operation.
• Troubleshoot complex network performance issues and deliver solutions to improve stability and performance.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure across diverse environments.
• Design, implement, and support Network Access Control (NAC) systems to enforce secure and seamless network access policies.
• Enhance user experience for global VPN deployments, including Palo Alto GlobalProtect, providing secure and reliable connectivity.
• Leverage expertise in BGP to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance global networks.
• Implement and maintain advanced wireless security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain network integrity.
• Support internal and external audits to meet compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven experience managing large-scale firewall environments using tools like Panorama and FortiManager.
• Strong background in troubleshooting network issues.
• Experience deploying and managing NAC systems in distributed environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of wireless security standards and best practices.
• Expertise in BGP and routing protocols, with a demonstrated history of designing and managing financial networks.
• Proven ability to enhance user experiences in global VPN setups, particularly with Palo Alto GlobalProtect.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge with security components in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with financial network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of AWS, Office networking, and data center best practices.
• Recent experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls.
