Job description

Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP APO/MII Consultant contractor to join their project around Mid – August 2025 and will run until December 19th 2025 with strong possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have multiple years of experience in SAP APO, MII, Demand Planning and PPDS modules. They will be responsible for the design, planning, configuration and support of APO implementation across multiple client sites. This is a remote contract, but on-site travel will be required during key project milestones. Please note that all travel expenses will be covered.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement SAP APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) modules (DP, SNP, GATP, PPDS) and SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence) solutions.
• Lead end-to-end project lifecycles blueprinting, gap analysis, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
• Optimize supply chain planning processes (demand planning, production scheduling, inventory optimization) using SAP APO.
• Integrate SAP MII with shop-floor systems (MES, PLCs, historians) for real-time manufacturing analytics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, production, IT) to align SAP solutions with business needs.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing system support.
• Pulp and paper experience is ideal, or manufacturing experience is also acceptable.
• Supply Network Planning and GATP Experience is an asset.
• Bilingual is a huge asset.
