Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP implementations to support enterprise transformation and modernization efforts. This role is ideal for professionals who bring hands-on experience in designing and delivering complex solutions across hybrid cloud environments, with a strong foundation in Microsoft Azure, DevOps, API architecture, and SAP S/4HANA. The successful candidate will be instrumental in guiding the transition from legacy and monolithic applications to scalable, service-based architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Solution Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP systems, including S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Fiori, BW, and related modules. Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and integration standards.Cloud Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure.Integration & API Management: Architect and manage APIs to enable seamless integration across enterprise systems and platforms.DevOps & CI/CD: Implement DevOps best practices to streamline deployment, testing, and release processes in SAP and non-SAP environments.System Modernization: Guide the modernization of legacy applications (Visual Basic 6, Centura, Gupta) to modern frameworks such as React, .NET, Angular, and containerized microservices.Data & Intelligence Platforms: Architect robust data platforms to support analytics, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence initiatives.SCADA & PI Systems: Design and integrate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and OSIsoft PI solutions.Architecture Governance: Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective architecture solutions.Documentation & Leadership: Create detailed architectural documentation and mentor technical teams to ensure adherence to design principles.QualificationsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in solution architecture, with specific emphasis on SAP implementation projects.Proven leadership in full lifecycle SAP initiatives including ECC to S/4HANA migrations, cloud transitions (SAP BTP, Azure), upgrades, and integrations.Technical Expertise:Deep knowledge of SAP modules and integration techniques (middleware, APIs, EDI).Experience with SAP Activate methodology, data migration, and cutover planning.Proficiency with Azure architecture, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of microservices, MVC architecture, and containerization.Proficiency in frontend and backend technologies including React, Angular, .NET, and SQL.Preferred Certifications:SAP Certified Technology or Application AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertCertified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or other relevant designationsSoft Skills:Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong leadership and collaboration mindset, with the ability to influence across business and technical teams.**We thank all applicants for applying, however only those considered for an interview will be contacted directly**Spirit Omega is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
