Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Vaughan, Canada

Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing the Cardinal Brand products’ supply planning and related activities. The incumbent will effectively manage inventory to provide high levels of customer service while also maximizing inventory turnover and closely work with the global deployment team and manufacturing.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be :

  • Responsible for inventory optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the value chain and performs data analysis and turns insights into tangible actions, build and automate reports/dashboards

  • Actively participate and lead S&OP meetings with regional and global teams for Cardinal Brand assigned categories. Execute and lead a collaborative process with internal stakeholders to share information, address issues and concerns

  • Liaise with global teams, Kinaxis COE, marketing, sales and operations teams when necessary

  • Playing a potential key role in the future ERP implementation and assist in other projects/tasks as assigned

  • Responsible for ensuring products are available and meet customer’s service commitments by reviewing daily deployments to regional sites, analyzing inventory on hand vs. customer demand/forecast and ensure timely delivery

  • Expediting, prioritizing, and optimizing inventory to ensure we meet or exceed our stated customer service levels

  • Assisting in the resolution of issues involving order promising, deviations to planned inventory levels, establishment and utilization of safety stock and customer delivery difficulties

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements that improve service, speed, or cost, through analysis of supply chain information and metrics

  • Understanding business/customer needs, identifying problem areas, analyzing supply chain parameters and working with management to support business strategies and customer needs

  • Providing support with data analytics, root cause analysis, and problem resolution of inventory concerns or issues

This Job might be for you if:

  • You possess a good understanding of supply chain, logistics and distribution gained through 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience

  • You’ve completed a College/University education in Business/Supply Chain Management, preferred

  • You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners, across different operating levels and drive value-added solutions

  • You have strong analytical skills and proven ability to analyze data trends with the use of reporting tools (ex. Excel, Access, Tableau) and initiate action from findings

  • You have experience in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), planning systems such as Kinaxis and SAP along with APICS or related certification preferred

  • You effectively communicate, lead facilitate and have strong presentation skills
