Professional Services Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Onboard users to the 5G testbed, coordinating on-site or remote access.
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support; troubleshoot and escalate issues to Tier 2/3 support as necessary.
  • Monitor Core & RAN components of an operational 5G/4G network.
  • Manage network trouble tickets, resolve issues, and route phone calls related to network events.
  • Program & Event Support:
  • Collaborate with hubs and stakeholders to implement programs and develop status reports.
  • Support events leveraging the 5G testbed and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare performance reports and analyses for the 5G testbed.
  • Implement surveys to track program outcomes and provide insights.
  • Operational Tasks:
  • Perform tasks aligned with defined procedures, solve routine issues, and escalate complex inquiries.
  • Train and guide colleagues, customers, and suppliers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience & Knowledge:
  • 5–7 years of telecommunications network experience.
  • Strong understanding of 5G/4G RAN and Core network topology and elements.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and procedures (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week, including occasional shifts.
  • Work Environment:
  • Experience in a call center or operational control center is highly desirable.
  • Ability to support event operations and interact with diverse stakeholders.
