Job Title: Shared Service Project Manager- Finance
Job Description
We are seeking a Shared Service Project Manager- Finance to lead finance-related projects, including financial system implementations, process automation, and financial reporting enhancements. The role involves overseeing project budgets, conducting financial analysis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and communicating financial impacts to stakeholders. The Project Manager will work closely with leads, provide status updates, and be part of the decision-making process, requiring strong change management, articulation, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities

Lead finance-related projects for Shared Services (Accounting and Payroll), including financial system implementations, process automation, and financial reporting enhancements.

Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.

Conduct financial analysis to support project decisions, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and financial forecasting.

Ensure all projects adhere to financial regulations and internal controls, mitigating financial risks.

Communicate financial impacts of projects to stakeholders, providing regular updates on financial performance and project milestones.

Identify opportunities for financial process improvements, standardize financial procedures, and implement best practices across the organization.

Provide status updates and reports to finance executives, working closely with leads and participating in decision-making processes.

Manage projects in the areas of full cycle accounting, accounts payables, expenses, intercompany administration, full cycle payroll processing, HR admin support, and benefits & pensions administration.
Essential Skills
-
Proven success in project management for various types of shared services transitions in finance with a minimum of 3 global scope transitions.

Experience supporting ERP/HCM rollouts (for finance stream/payroll).

Understanding of system integrations such as ADP, Ceridian, Oracle, Time & Attendance, Benefits platform, Banks, Travel Oracle Fusion (ERP/HCM).

Ability to work effectively in a complex global organizational structure.

Savvy with systems and technology, capable of quickly learning new platforms, tools, and systems.

Experience implementing and managing shared services setups with formal SLAs and KPIs.
-
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
-
Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations and executive-level content.
-
High level of maturity and confidentiality to support executive-level sensitive information and processes.

Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing and dynamic environment with evolving systems and processes.

Proven ability to prioritize, set, and meet deadlines while working under tight constraints, and manage multiple tasks to completion simultaneously.

Ability to work and contribute effectively towards solutions-based discussions.

Self-regulated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Change management experience as part of project management role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Global shared service experience.
-
PMP certification.
-
Proficiency in German. ( Only candidates who have worked in Germany and understand the German culture very well will be considered ).

Finance and accounting expertise.

Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

ERP implementation experience.
-
HCM rollout experience.
-
Knowledge of Oracle.
Work Environment
This role operates within a dynamic and fast-changing environment. The Project Manager will use various technologies and platforms, including ERP and HCM systems, and will be involved in complex global organizational structures. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as well as strong communication and process documentation skills. The work environment demands a high level of maturity and confidentiality to handle executive-level sensitive information and processes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $7.25 – $7.25/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Brampton,ON.
