Description :Toromont Material Handling is looking for a Shop Technician to join our team! The Shop Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and proper diagnosing of equipment.As a Shop Technician, YOU will experience:

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Checks forklifts for proper performance and inspects equipment to detect faults and malfunctions on Caterpillar, Jungheinrich, Mitsubishi, Kalmar, Manitou, Toyota, Raymond et Hyster models
• Diagnoses faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjusts equipment and repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems
• Tests repaired equipment for proper performance and ensures that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
• Cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on equipment

Must-haves for this role:

• Post-secondary education
• Diploma in vocational studies in automobile mechanic or diploma in automated systems
