Location: Logan Lake, British ColumbiaWhat you will be doing:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresEnsure execution of all stages of projects are conducted in a responsible, safe manner while guaranteeing there are no unreasonable risks taken that may jeopardize safetyLead on-site field work activities for both contractors and site union employees for IT and OT infrastructure and systems delivery, installation, commissioning and transition to operationsWork with on and off site-based resources to plan and schedule project field work activities while assisting corporate project managersAct as the “bridge” between corporate teams (project managers, technology managers, IT/OT specialists) and on-site teams (project team, local resources and contractors)Contribute to reporting and communication from multiple information channelsCoordinate and lead team members and contractors working on the project at site, following the site contractor management policies and proceduresCollaborate with project team members to plan, request and acquire required resources to meet deliverablesFacilitate meetings, workshops, and logistics for project and program purposesTackle problems by identifying, resolving, and advancing any issues and risks as and when requiredWhat you must have:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in engineering or applied technology3+ years of field work experience coordinating IT/OT technology projects deployment in a large sophisticated industrial operationMining experience is considered an assetCapable of understanding and reviewing engineering documents such building layout, networking diagrams, logical diagrams, rack profiles, single line diagrams, cable schedules, and others.Practical experience working on industrial automation, networking or IT/OT projects ranging from $1 – 10MComfortable working outdoors during winter weather, using two-way radio communication, and driving in a mine environmentComfortable working independently with some ambiguity and moving things to clarityStrong vendor management capabilities, including experience with contractsStrong coordination and organizational skills, a great teammate and collaboratorExcellent written and spoken proficiency in English at both technical and management levelsSkilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePointFor more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
