The Faculty of Education seeks a dynamic educator for a two-year full-time Instructor II position in Social Contexts in Education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses, supervise field experiences, assess student work, and contribute to professional, scholarly, and university communities. Applicants must hold a graduate degree relevant to social contexts (doctorate preferred), have at least three years of teaching experience, and be eligible for Alberta teacher certification. Expertise in inclusive and complex classrooms, social and cultural influences, accessibility, Indigenous and diverse knowledges, and equity frameworks is highly valued. Additional strengths include digital pedagogy, philosophy or sociology of education, early years or trades education, and online/blended teaching. Relocation to Lethbridge and active engagement in university culture are required.
