Title: Software Developer – Full Stack
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 12 MonthsDescriptionResponsibilities Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities. Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes devTechnical Skills and Knowledge – 50%
- Angular, React, Java, Spring Boot knowledge and experience
- Technical architectural support
- Technical solutioning and support for project/tech leads
- Agile development practices and methodologies
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks
Agile and Technical Frameworks – 25%
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks such as Scrum
- Ability to implement Agile practices in technical projects
- Experience with Agile tools like Azure DevOps
Business Requirements and Project Management Skill – 15%
- Project Management Skills (i.e., effort estimation, project plan, risk/issue management, solutions presentation, etc.)
- Business and end-user engagement
- Business requirement analysis, options analysis, and recommendation
CI/CD DevOps and Infrastructure – 10%
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines / Git
- Technical experience with infrastructure and operational needs for development teams (i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, Cloud support)
- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Must haves:
- Knowledge and experience in Angular / Java Script / CSS / HTML / Spring Boot
- Experience with implementation of approved user interface, design, and deployment of database
- Proficient with both front-end and back-end development, including any associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps
