Job Description:Specialist, Electronic Medical Records – Health Services Transformation TeamHealth Services, Health Strategy, Planning and Partnerships (HSPP)Status: Contract Full Time, 13 month durationSalary Range: $89,469 to $111,834 per annum + comprehensive benefitsWork Mode: Hybrid*see below for more details about this work modeLocation: 7120 Hurontario Street, MississaugaHours of work: 35 hours per weekWho we are: Reporting to the Manager or Advisor, Health Strategy, Planning and Partnerships (HSPP), this position works collaboratively with internal clients and stakeholders in the development and implementation of strategic, business and operational plans for platforms supporting Electronic Medical Records (EMR) including other strategic initiatives across the Health Services department.What you will do in this role:
What the role requires:A degree in Health Administration, Health Informatics, Business Administration or Public AdministrationMinimum of 5 years’ experience with project management, change management, analysis and interpretation, facilitation, client relationship management and/or consultation * Highly proficient understanding in health informatics and supporting, configuration of various platform for electronic health records (e.g. TELUS Collaborative Health Record, AlayaCare , etc.)
Skills/Abilities:Expert knowledge of current thinking and practices related to strategic, business process improvement and operational planning within the health and public sectors in OntarioStrong interpersonal skills to be able to work with senior and executive management, health professionals, other levels of government, other departments, staff and stakeholdersExcellent facilitation skills with sound knowledge of various facilitation techniques • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information for a variety of audiencesStrong facilitation, project management, partnership/collaboration, planning, problem-solving and organizational skillsReporting to the Manager or Advisor, Health Strategy Planning Partnerships (HSPP), this position works collaboratively with internal clients and stakeholders in the development and implementation of strategic, business and operational plans for platforms supporting Electronic Medical Records (EMR) including other strategic initiatives across the Health Services department.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement timely solutions to complex problems * Ability to maintain focus, energy, commitment and positive attitude in the face of uncertainty, change and resistance
