Role Overview: As a Systems Administrator, you will be part of our Engineering team, working on diverse programs and projects. You will help develop new capabilities, enhance existing systems, and deliver effective solutions to our clients.Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the procurement, installation, configuration, and administration of computer systems
• Assist in designing network and hardware infrastructure
• Install hardware, networking, and operating systems
• Troubleshoot system and network issues
• Ensure security solutions comply with project and corporate IT standards
• Contribute to system designs that are technically competitive and cost-effective
• Update and develop tools, processes, and best practices for continuous improvement
• Support and collaborate with customers, development, and integration teams
• Develop, maintain, and document facility requirements and network/hardware installation plans

Must Have:

• VMware

• Linux

• Experience working in a team – not someone who has only worked in an isolated environment

• Diploma – any technical diploma

• Security awareness/knowledge – GPOs, security tools, scanning, airgapped computers, process, networking, firewalls and rules

• Scripting – (PowerShell, bash, shell, python, salt)

Nice to Have:

• Windows

• Networking experience

• Terraform, Docker

• Linux SUSE

Additional Skills:

• Experience in architecting complex systems for on-premise and/or cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancing, and virtual networks
• Experience with VM management, storage mechanisms, and scaling mechanisms
• Understanding of security design and best practices
• Experience with hybrid environments involving cloud and on-premise systems
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with enterprise backup software and configuration management systems (e.g., Git)
• General knowledge of programming and software development
• Understanding of modern software and network architectures, security principles, and deployment patterns
• Experience with secure environments following NIST 800-171 and/or CIS guidelines
• Experience in air-gapped environments with limited internet access
• Relevant certifications in operating systems, networks, or cloud platforms
