20Position Summary:
Family Medicine: An examination of the role of data and value informed decision-making in better health and healthcare. Includes the concepts, methods, and techniques obtained from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and operations research (OR) for optimal, high-quality decision-making in healthcare. Also introduces the concept of shared decision-making and its tools to meaningfully engage patients in decision-making process in healthcare.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with course delivery.Assist with student inquiries.Assist with assessing student assignments.Assist with hands-on software workshops (if any).Qualifications:Candidate must be familiar with the course content of FMED 605.
Must have healthcare-related research experience and background knowledge of data science (including basics of statistics).
PhD student in the PhD Family Medicine Program and/or Electrical and Computer Engineering and/or Dentistry, and/or Computer science, and/or Mechanical Engineering.
