Come build a rewarding career at Rogers and be a driving force behind our success story!Reporting to the Manager, Contract Administration, the Team Lead, Contract Management role will support our Sales teams nationally, and will be responsible for ensuring that key legal documents are compliant and consistent with corporate policies and are optimal and practical to each opportunity. Please note, this is a contract opportunity.What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and draft various legal contacts, documents and correspondence in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Formalize, document, and maintain legal best practices and processes.
  • Incorporate / comply with corporate legal contract management.
  • Provide comprehensive review of key legal documents during the negotiation stage.
  • Propose alternate contract language where required and support contract revisions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Senior Management as appropriate.
  • Maintain and update all key document templates.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Corporate and Legal’s current and applicable processes, templates, checklists and tools.
  • Support the development of Contract Management Plans as appropriate.
  • Keeping appropriately current with applicable law.
  • Support the contract signature process.
  • Assist with projects as required.

What you’ll have:

  • Experience in contract management or contract administration.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing a high volume of contracts.
  • Experience with contract administration.
  • Legal Degree (or equivalent combinations of training), Law Clerk or Paralegal Degree, or experience in the legal field.
  • Strong legal contract drafting knowledge.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Working independently with little supervision.
  • Knowledge of applicable legal terminology, and contract language interpretation.
  • Self motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word including “blackline” functionality, MS Excel).
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written are essential.
  • Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with others as a team.
