Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in data interfaces, API integrations, and system analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to define, design, and optimize data-driven solutions, ensuring seamless integration across various enterprise systems.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & AnalysisCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.Document API and data interface specifications, including authentication methods, payload structures, and response handling.API & Data Interface DesignDefine and validate RESTful and SOAP API specifications, ensuring alignment with business processes.Work with developers to ensure APIs meet security, performance, and scalability standards.Design and document data flow diagrams, data mapping, and transformation rules.System Integration & ImplementationAssist in the implementation of API-based integrations between internal and third-party systems.Validate data transformations and ETL processes for accuracy and efficiency.Support middleware and API gateway configurations where necessary.Testing & Quality AssuranceDevelop and execute test plans, including API testing using Postman or SoapUI, and perform data validation.Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues by working closely with developers and system architects.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API catalogs, data dictionaries, and system diagrams.Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and regulatory standards.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.5+ years of experience as a BSA, Systems Analyst, or a similar role with a focus on APIs and data interfaces.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and OAuth/OpenID authentication.Experience with API management tools (e.g., Mulesoft, AWS API Gateway).Familiarity with data integration technologies (ETL, data pipelines, middleware solutions).Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.Experience with recommending appropriate AWS services and microservices.Experience with Serverless and microservices architectures on AWS.Experience with Multi-tier application design in AWS environments.Experience with AWS architectural patterns and reference architectures.Experience with querying and working with relational databases, particularly MySQL, for data analysis and validation.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based integrations (AWS is required; Azure and Google Cloud are a plus).Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on cutting-edge API and data integration projects.Collaborative and innovative work environment.
