The Technical Lead – Android, Development position is responsible for the technical vision, and steering technical work in that direction over time. This position works closely with Android Developers, Software Architects, and Senior Development Managers.Is this role right for you? In this role you will:You will champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledgeYou will lead technical decisioning for the scrum teams, collaborating with Software ArchitectsYou will assist in developing Android coding standards and testing approachesYou will work closely with the Senior Development Manager, providing technical decision reasoning for work itemsYou will develop coding standards and testing approachesYou will provide expert advice and counsel to key stakeholders on development project teams on complex issues related to Android developmentYou will understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.You will actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.You will champion a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
