Technical Product Intern

Job Description

  • Analyze, interpret large datasets and generate reports to extract meaningful customer insights to help with business decisions, including but not limited to sales funnel management, quote, revenue and forecast; Develop automation scripts for these processes.

  • Based on customer’s system requirement, learn to provide optimal solution considering performance, schedule, cost factors.

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Phase-Lock-Loop (PLL) timing products and key timing specifications such as jitter, phase noise, clock signaling types and signal terminations for latest highspeed interconnect like 112G Serdes

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of industry interconnect standards for clocking such as IEEE1588, PCIe..

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations team on each customer project priorities, developments and shipments.

  • Respond to sales and customer inquiries on product pricing, schedule, forecast, lifetime and technical requests.

  • Collaborate with corporate marketing team on product landing pages, sell-sheet, blogs and other form of sales enablement tools.

  • Participate and listen in feature/schedule roadmap discussions.

  • Product life cycle management – management of product life cycle issues such as Product Change Notices and ultimately Product Discontinuation Notices.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S preferred, or related engineering field with MBA

  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal design concepts, preferred experience with PLL, clock and timing devices

  • Experience with server, communications system, consumer electronics or automotive applications preferred.

  • Sufficient with programming languages like Python, SQL and Excel, Power BI.

  • Curiosity-driven to understand different real-world applications and desire to learn about applying technical specifications to realizable business bases.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.

  • Strong communication skills, able to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people across various functions

Your everyday work will have an impact on business, roadmap and customer relationships across the entire product portfolio. You will be part of the product line management team and learn how the products are developed from concept all the way to end of life.

Temporary full time (40 hours/week) Co-op/Intern position for 17 weeks from May 5 to August 29, 2025.

To be eligible for an internship at Renesas, students must be enrolled at a college/university.
