Job DescriptionOur client, a well-established and growing organization based in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support customer success and oversee key projects from design through installation. This is a permanent, full-time role within an energized and professional team.Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Act as a key point of contact for external and internal customers, providing strategic advice on product design, pipe routing, and layout
- Manage customer purchase orders from contract acceptance to installation, ensuring clear communication, on-time deliverables, and project margin goals are met
- Collaborate with engineering, drafting, production, and QA to align schedules, designs, materials, and documentation
- Monitor project budgets and progress, order special components, generate invoices, and report regularly to management
- Guide projects through manufacturing and installation, offering technical support and troubleshooting
- Provide leadership to project teams and support coordination efforts across departments
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- Relevant post-secondary education in Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
- Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Syspro or similar ERP systems considered an asset
