TENURE-TRACK ASSISANT PROFESSOR IN ANTI-RACISM, LEADERSHIP & ADMINISTRATION
The Faculty of Education of the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton invites applications for the tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Anti-Racism, Leadership, and Administration. The successful candidate will teach in our graduate program in the area of Educational Administration and Leadership and will have duties within the faculty as a whole. The appointment, subject to budgetary approval, will commence July 1, 2025.

The salary range and fringe benefits for this position is defined in the Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers (AUNBT) 2022 – 2025 Collective Agreement sections 35 and 36B.

The successful candidate will have a Doctorate in Educational Studies and Leadership, with a specialization in Anti-racism, or be close to their completion. The candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly research and publications, and excellence in their teaching and leadership contributions. We value lived experience of racism and identification with an underrepresented demographic. Experience in the Kindergarten to Grade 12 education system will be considered valuable in this position. The successful candidate must be willing to participate in province-wide leadership projects linking our Faculty of Education to New Brunswick Anglophone and Francophone school districts, the Provincial Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD), and the New Brunswick Teachers Association (NBTA). Experience designing and providing professional development for school leaders and aspiring school leaders is also an asset in this position.

The successful candidate will take a leadership role in designing and delivering graduate courses related to Educational Leadership and Theory, Antiracism Education and Theory, and School Administration. Experience teaching online or in a blend of online/virtual/face-to-face formats will be considered an asset in this position.
