Students learn principles of good service design and how they relate to user experience design and user experience research including: elements of service design systems, service safaris, experience prototyping, storyboarding and service blueprinting. Students learn to apply those tools and practices through the creation of project brief for a local service business.Qualifications – Required:

  • 2+ years experience teaching or providing training in Service Design
  • Submission of a sample Service Blueprint

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with methods of user experience research and their application in holistic service design
  • Strong ability to mentor and inspire students in creating actionable project briefs for real-world service design applications
