Veterinary AssistantLocation: Vancouver, BCVancouver Animal Wellness Hospital is welcoming a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!Your role will be:Assisting Veterinarians and Technicians with various tasks and treatment of pet patientsProviding compassionate care duties including feeding and walking patientsTechnical skills should include knowledge of patient care and restraint, client care, and surgical assistingGeneral hospital maintenance including cleaning kennelsEnhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical teamWhat’s required?Exceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clientsStrong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse teamCompassion and nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patientsAbility to remain calm and efficient in stressful situationsPositive outlook and enthusiasm for learningInitiative in carrying out assignments independentlyPrevious veterinary education or certificateCompensation: $17.75 to $23.00 per hour. The hourly rate range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.
