Our Warehouse Associate, working alongside the Warehouse Manager, will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance for all goods and materials in our Vancouver office and associated warehouse operations. This includes staging materials for project installations, delivering to customer sites, and coordinating pick-ups by technicians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong computer literacy, a valid driver’s license, a positive team attitude, and a strong work ethic.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Receive shipments, verify goods, complete accurate and detailed paperwork, and enter materials into inventory software.
Advise appropriate person(s) when stock has been received.
Liaise with the Accounting team on a regular basis to ensure packing slips and invoices received, and that RMAs are accurately processed with efficiency.
Ship stock to other branch offices and customer sites as required.
Work with the Project Management and Purchasing teams to ensure all project orders are complete for staging.
Stage materials for technician pick-up, project installation, and delivery to customer sites.
Direct delivery to customer sites as needed.
Monitor consumption of consumable items and maintain stock items.
Maintain current knowledge about products, catalog information, part numbers, and required operating stocks.
Setup and repacking of project materials on the test bench.
Deliver materials to customer sites and handle pick-ups as needed.
Assist with vehicle maintenance, including GPS installation and routine upkeep of all vehicles.
Provide on-site support for technicians during project installations as required.
Assist in facility maintenance, including upkeep of buildings, parking lots, and coordinating with WHS team for building issues (e.g., recycling pick-ups, sweeping parking lots).
Support with the setup and repacking of project materials, including organizing test bench setups and maintaining trackable items (e.g., ladders, tools).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Management, or Logistics role, preferably in the security or technology industry.
Post-secondary education would be considered an asset; High School Diploma or equivalent at a minimum.
Strong computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking software.
Experience with waybill preparation, bills of lading, and international shipments.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
First-rate organizational, time management, and prioritization skills for working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive team attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting, and knowledge of safe lifting methods.
High level of integrity and accountability, along with ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
Valid BC Driver’s License with clean abstract.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with ERP or advanced inventory management systems for enhanced warehouse efficiency.
Previous exposure to supporting large-scale project installations or multi-site logistics coordination.

Skilled in anticipating stock needs and identifying discrepancies before they impact project timelines.

Strong understanding of safe handling practices and adherence to regulatory requirements, especially when working with high-value materials.
