Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: Kitchener, ON
Pay Rate: Depends on experience
Shift: Monday to Friday
Position can turn into a permanent for the right candidate!
We are assisting our client in Kitchener to find a Senior Warehouse Associate.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents as well as record and update inventory records.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Create and maintain detailed records of received and shipped goods using a computerized system.
- Generate shipping labels and packing slips.
- Pick and package orders securely for shipping.
- Sort and organize incoming merchandise for storage or distribution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures to comply with workplace safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse and/or shipping & receiving role.
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting and labour-intensive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP software considered an asset.
