Randstad is seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Associate / Machine Shop Assistant to join a busy warehouse team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.Position: Warehouse Associate / Machine Shop AssistantShift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: $18-20/hr
Location: Mississauga, ONThis is a temporary position with permanent potential.Advantages

There will be two components to this role: Machine Shop Assistant will be the primary role when demand is high, and Order Picker will be the role when machine shop demand is low.· Assist with cutting, chamfering, stamping, cleaning, and packaging of threaded rod studs in machine shop· Operate machinery used in the production process· Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment· Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment· Ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped· Carry or transport orders to shipping locations· Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary· Report quantity and quality variances· Use barcode scanning equipment to maintain computerized stock inventory· Wrap and secure loads prior to shipment· Restock inventory rooms with required product as required· Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area· Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety· Perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as neededQualifications
1-3 years exp in a warehouse environment.
Excellent communication skills a MUST.
Computer skills a MUST.
Reliable – looking to learn and grow.
Familiarity with cycle counting/RF scanners.
Order Entry.
Steel toe safety shoes a MUST.
