Salary: $28.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals – St. Catharines is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to support one of our clients with upcoming projects. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and have a strong background with Welding/Fitting, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review engineering blueprints, drawings, and other specifications closely
• Inspect and perform quality checks on raw materials and fabrication equipment
• Perform all assigned fitting work; including welding of parts, frames, and fabrications, small to large weldments; in accordance with quality standards and specifications
• Must be proficient in the following GMAW welding processes: MIG, some TIG and fitting work, working with steel and conveyance system fabrication, fitting, welding
• Conveyer manufacturing, food manufacturing and conveyor systems
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• 3-5 years MIG Welding/Fitting with some TIG & Stainless experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to perform all fitting functions required to assemble metal components and structures
• Set-up and operate fabrication equipment to cut, bend, grind and adjust materials

Wage: $28.00/hour

Schedule: 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday
