We are seeking Yardworkers for a large North American metals recycling company here in Victoria, BC.If you are strong, physically fit, and have a desire to learn, we want to hear from you! This opportunity has the potential to become permanent for the right person.YARDWORKER
Position: Temporary with full-time hours, potential to become permanent for the right candidates
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm
Location: Close to Downtown Victoria, transit accessible
Pay rate: $21/hour
Start date: ASAPAdvantages

Responsibilities

  • Comfortable working outdoor (Rain, Sun, Snow)
  • Identifying, removing and organizing recyclable metals
  • Physical work at a fast pace
  • Working on different products including vehicles
  • First stage in preparing metals to be transformed into quality produce

Qualifications

  • Physical fitness and able to handle a fast pace environment

  • Strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to learn and grow with the company
  • Must have steel toed safety boots
